Welcome to Discovery Early Education & Care Centre
Discovery Early Education and Care Centre is a purpose built Centre that is dedicated to providing high quality education and care programs for families and their children from 6 weeks to 6 years.
Our room design and inclusive outdoor environment enables us to be responsive to the needs of the growing Port Macquarie Hastings and Wauchope communities.
The Centre incorporates the latest in digital technology to enhance communication with parents and enable us to provide safe, secure and challenging learning programs for your child's journey of discovery through the early years.
Our centre is rated Exceeding in all seven National Quality Standards by the Australian Children's Education & Care Quality Authority and in May 2022 we were rated Excellent by the Australian Children's Education & Care Quality Authority (ACECQA)

Nursery
Our nursery room caters for children 6 weeks to 24 months and our educators provide a safe nurturing environment where you and your baby will feel welcome.
Toddlers
Within our toddler room our daily program is based on the learning through play theory as we focus on each child’s strengths and interests.
Preschool
The preschool program is flexible, and child focused with a mix of play based learning and intentionally planned experiences that cater for 3-4 year old children.
Transition
For most children this is the year before Primary School. Our Transition to School program promotes the skills to support your childs school readiness
