Toddler Room
Our daily program reflects learning through play as we focus on each child’s strengths and interests. Within this program, we offer learning environments to assist in developing each child’s physical, social, emotional, cognitive and language skills.
Educators deliver this by including art and creative experiences, sensory play, fundamental movement skills, music and movement and literacy activities during each day.
Our program also supports each child to refine their self-help and co-regulation skills, become independent and develop a strong sense of their own identity and wellbeing. In our room belonging, being and becoming is central to the program.
Belonging: as the children begin to understand that they can belong to many different groups and communities.
Being: in the here and now, so they can enjoy and learn at their own pace and style.
Becoming: confident and independent learners while having fun in a caring and friendly environment.
We offer our toddlers a nurturing environment where each child feels safe and supported, as we focus on building strong relationships with each child and their families. The Educators in the room spend quality time engaging and interacting with the children in small groups during our daily program and routines.
The Toddler Program is led by a team of qualified and experienced Diploma and Certificate III educators.
