Gone Fishing!

The children in the Orange Preschool Room have taken agency of their own learning and interest in fishing by contributing to the outdoor program. The children gathered sticks during their recent walking excursions around the local community, and created artworks of fish independently. They showed focus and well-developing fine motor skills as they threaded wool onto the sticks for fishing line.
Upon completion of this ongoing project, the children were delighted to share this fun resource they had created with their peers as they engaged in role-play in the trickle stream – “catching fish”.
