Clean Up Australia Day 2024
Have you noticed our local community looking clean and tidy recently? Whilst participating in Clean Up Australia Day last week, the children not only collected litter and cleaned up our neighbourhood, they used the opportunity to talk about the importance of keeping our Centre, community and planet clean. We had so much fun at our Discovery Mini-Olympics today! The children and educators took part in an opening ceremony march, where our diverse backgrounds were represented, followed by the softball, fencing, hockey, running relays, hurdles, soccer and equestrian events. The children demonstrated many Olympic values, including sportsmanship, perseverance, diversity and acceptance of all.
