Celebrating The Paralympics!

The Preschool and Transition children participated in their own Paralympics yesterday. Respect, inclusion and acceptance of diversity are core values at Discovery.

Celebrating the Paralympics has provided us the intentional teaching opportunities for discussions with children about diversity, perseverance and strength. The events the children took part in helped them understand the feeling of achievement, and success even when faced with challenges.
