Happy Holi!
Today at Discovery, we are excited to celebrate Holi, the Festival of Colours. Holi is a vibrant and joyful festival in India that marks the arrival of spring and symbolizes love, happiness and new beginnings. It is a time for communities to unite, share laughter and embrace diversity.
The children were encouraged to wear white or light-coloured tee shirts, and Ruchi supplied us with safe, coloured powders for our colour run. Through this experience, the children will develop an appreciation for different cultures, express creativity, and enjoy a spirit of togetherness.
