Celebrating Book Week 2022!  

During NAIDOC Week we acknowledged Torres Strait Islander culture by introducing ‘Floral Friday’ to the children, families, and educators. We will continue to participate in Floral Friday, on the first Friday of every month, to embed Torres Strait Islander perspectives into our program.

At Discovery educators plan experiences that promote children’s cultural competence and learning, to develop positive attitudes towards diverse cultural practices and traditions.

Celebrating Harmony Week- “Everyone Belongs” – by recognising diversity and inclusion. We wear orange as it signifies social communication and meaningful conversations. It also relates to the freedom of ideas and encouragement of mutual respect.
