National Simultaneous Storytime
Today is National Simultaneous Storytime, an annual campaign to inspire young Australians to read and love books. Each year, a picture book by an Australian author and illustrator is read simultaneously in libraries, schools, and homes across the country.
This year, the children listened to and participated in age-appropriate learning experiences related to Aura Parker’s book “Bowerbird Blues.” The Nursery children went on a treasure hunt for blue items, and the Toddlers engaged in blue sensory play!
