Breaking a World Record with Rotary!
Today is an exciting day for the Sovereign Hills community! The Rotary Club of Port Macquarie West Inc. are attempting to build the longest line of socks to break the world record and raise money for charity.
The children helped their community work towards this goal by pegging socks on the lines. We managed to complete a whole row, and when we counted them we were amazed to discover we had hung up 126 socks!
Community connections give children a sense of belonging and help them develop social skills.
