National Child Protection Week 2022
Protecting children is everyone’s job!
The National Child Protection Week’s theme for 2022 is that ‘Every child, in every community, needs a fair go’. At Discovery, we acknowledge that children have the right to grow up safe, connected and supported in their family, community and culture.
This year we talked to the children about how we create a supportive community and make sure that every neighbourhood has what children need to thrive and be healthy. Together our Preschool children created an artwork of their neighbourhood, to help show that protecting children is about working together as a community.
We celebrated Bravehearts Day together today with a Teddy Bear’s Picnic and sausage sizzle for lunch.
