Fire Safety
Discovery is committed to identifying risks and hazards of emergency and evacuation situations, and we plan for their reduction or minimisation during regular rehearsals and evaluation of emergency procedures.
All educators took part in Fire Safety Training during our recent staff meeting, led by our local Fire and Rescue Officer. The Fire and Rescue team then joined us for an evacuation drill with the children on Thursday to observe and assess our procedures.
