Opening of the Sovereign Hills Library Kiosk
We were honoured to be invited by Lewis Land to attend the official opening of the Sovereign Hills Library Kiosk today. The educators were very proud of how respectfully the children listened to the speeches given by the Mayor, Lewis Land and Leslie Williams.
The children gave our Acknowledgement of Country to the Mayor and attendees and were thanked as the upcoming community members and future readers.
Angie, from the Mobile Library Van, read a story to us and the children were also served a special morning tea. Maggie became the first person to borrow a book from the library kiosk!
